I don’t know how many times I’ll say this, but some of my best friends in the industry were brought into my life via twitter. And I can’t help but feel truly blessed. By putting myself, my real true self, out there on the internet, I have opened myself up to some of the most amazing people. People like me. People who love life, people who are striving for something better, people who like to laugh and people who aren’t afraid of what’s out there. These people are a gift to me. And one of those gifts is my friend Gladys.
Gladys and I “met” through the internet. We instantly clicked on twitter. It was like we were long-lost friends. She loves all things bridal. She could happily survive on a cupcakes-only diet. She’s a shorty. She has to be conned into going to the movies with her man. When she walks into a room, the energy level goes up by 100%. She’s such a firecracker and I absolutely loved being around her. Gladys is a San Francisco wedding photographer and recently asked if I could capture some new head shots for her website. I knew we were going to have fun but seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much. Gladys is truly a gem and I think her personality shines through each and every one of these photos. I’m so happy to have her as a colleague but more importantly, as a friend.
You know a girl is SERIOUS about her love for cupcakes when she rocks a cupcake necklace. From Tiffany’s, no less!
Gladys doesn’t stop. And I loved it. She should move to Los Angeles so we can hang out more. Just throwing that out there!
I have to give a huge shout-out to Ellie M. for finding this location. It was INSANE! Thank you Ellie!
