When Steven and I got engaged, we drove down the coast and made a stop at the beautiful Mission San Juan Capistrano. We roamed around the beautiful architecture, stopping to revel in our new life together. Stopping for quick embraces. Stopping to pray. Ever since then, I have always wanted to shoot a couple in this same space. A couple that revels in their own love. A couple who stops for random kisses. A couple who values prayer. This is my fifth wedding season and finally, everything came full circle.
Brenda & David are the couple that I had been waiting for. So in love. So into their faith. So into one another. So much so that they decided to marry after knowing each other for a few short months. As they say, when you know, you know. Brenda & David’s chemistry is contagious and with the Mission as the backdrop, their engagement session was perfection. It warms my heart that connections like theirs are possible and I’m thrilled for their August wedding!

[…] love from Brenda & David’s engagement session carried over to their wedding day. It was one of the hottest days of the summer but it didn’t […]
You have no idea who I am. But I am a local photographer and I have been following your beautiful photography for the last several years. I just scheduled an engagement session at the mission and in my excitement I had to come back and look at these images– they are so stunning and after looking at this blog earlier this year this story is the only story I see in my mind when I think about the mission. I sound like a complete and total creeper now, but you are incredibly talented and your work is a huge inspiration. <3
