Madeline & Ryan : Married

This wedding. Oooooh…this wedding. It was beautiful. Graceful. Intimate. A celebration of love in the purest form. No fuss. No stress. Just lots of love and warmth and tears. There was time to see the sand in between their toes, time to watch the light breeze lightly blow through her hair, time to steal quick kisses and meaningful glances. It was something completely different. Madeline and Ryan wanted something special. Something just for the two of them. A quiet, beautiful place. They know they love each other. They have already melded their lives together and this was just the final step. You know, just for them.

We started the afternoon getting ready at The Montage and ended the evening exchanging vows on Crystal Cove Beach in Laguna. Nothing could put a damper on this day. It was perfection. Madeline and Ryan, thank you for welcoming Steven and I into your lives. It was the most personal experience we’ve ever been a part of. Your hearts are huge and I feel blessed to share in your day. It was magical. And really, I never say magical. Love you guys!

Madeline’s Monique Lhuillier dress is one of my all-time favorite gowns I’ve ever seen. I gasped when I walked in and saw it.  Madeline’s something old and blue was a handkerchief given to her by her grandmother. It was such a beautiful, delicate and personal touch. Beach brides, take note, you can still have impeccable taste when sand and ocean water is involved. I think Madeline looked effortlessly stunning. Her bouquet by Flower Allie was equally as stunning.
Their first look at The Montage attracted a small crowd. But Madeline and Ryan didn’t seem to mind. They were at ease in each others presence. Madeline’s bracelets were given to her by her daughter and Ryan’s mother at separate times. I love that without matching, they match.  Ryan’s a man’s man. So, of course, he had to ride to the ceremony on his Harley Davidson. I thought it was pretty awesome and I’m not going to lie, I think Steven was a little jealous.  Just throwing this out there, I’m still swooning over the backless Monique Lhuillier. And is it just me or does Madeline resemble Sandra Bullock?
These are my favorites from the day. Black & white. Simple. Lovely.  We ended the evening with Madeline, Ryan, Monique and Harley. Really, is there anything better?
