Shirley & Aslan : Married

Shirley & Aslan make each other better. No, actually, they make each other light up. They have found that special someone to laugh with, dance like a crazy person with, have make-out competitions with. But most importantly, in one another, they have found someone to follow their dreams with. It was evident throughout the day that these two have found their match. Married by one of their closest friends at the Cerritos Library, Shirley & Aslan promised to share the best of themselves and live a life of support, happiness, laughter and love.

Shirls & Asi – thank you for welcoming me with your warm hearts and big smiles. I adore how well you two flow together. Your love is contagious! It was truly an honor to witness your special day AND be a part of such a wild dance party! Love you guys!! xoxo

Shirley’s Monique Lhuillier gown was classic and beautiful. Plus, it fit her like a glove. Perfect.Megan from Honey & Poppies did such an amazing job on all the florals. Seriously, she’s one of my favorites.The bridesmaids chose their own slate colored dresses from J. Crew. Love the trend of each girl being able to rock her own style.Aslan was looking pretty good himself, in a Gucci suit gifted to him by his awesome sister, Layla. Shirley & Aslan’s first look was so sweet and intimate. I love when brides and grooms choose to do this. Clouds hovered all day and everyone prayed for the rain to hold off. But, as you can see, the sun made a guest appearance just as Shirley walked down the aisle. Like, for real, it couldn’t have been more perfect! We had a few minutes to play in the Cerritos Library. When I say minutes, I mean like three. It’s evident in the Nancy Drew book choices for the photos. 😉 Again, Megan from Honey & Poppies did not disappoint. She brought the springtime, bright, easygoing feel indoors on a grey day. Love!Megan makes me want to learn names of flowers.
